I think I must have pissed off the internet gods at some point in the recent past
I keep suffering unexpected periods of disconnect that last days at a time; first I lost my internet connection because my ISP stopped supporting my modem, but failed to warn me in advance. When I moved into my new house, it took a week longer than expected to get the phone/internet hooked up... I hadn't realized just how much I rely on the internet, until I no longer had access to it!
Fortunately, I am back up and running (finally!)... though perhaps I should sacrifice a goat or two in the name of the internet, just in case
Then again, perhaps I shouldn't complain; it's kind of amazing just how
much I managed to get accomplished over the last week! Without the distraction of the internet, I moved my entire house, unpacked, organized, signed up for classes, toured my new hometown a bit, and read 4 books
I also had time to reconnect with some good friends that moved to this area a few years ago... one of whom is the previously mentioned "romance consultant". We've managed to stay close despite not living near each other for the last few years, but of course there's nothing like actually being able to get together over tea and scones and share the details of our lives. She's one of the few who know of my life as "Zoey", and it's comforting to have someone nearby that I can confide in from time to time
Randomly, she mentioned that she offers discounts on her site, and welcomed me to purchase "supplies" through her... which is fabulous, since even just basic condoms and lube can add up after awhile!
Which made me curious; would any of my fellows in this little world of ours be interested in purchasing from her at a discount? She assures me that her coupon code is widely distributed and used by many, so while the site DOES require contact information, there would be no way for her or anyone else to determine whether a particular customer received the code via this venue, or some other...
Now if only I can convince her to let me purchase a few items at cost, I've always wondered about those "love swings"

..In fact I think it is great when a friend or colleague can offer something I can use and represents a good value -- like a promotion code.
