Surprised? You really think politicians are patriots? I didn't think you were that naive.

Yes it does. George W Bush missed Independence Day in the US to spend it in a foreign country? Aren't you outraged?

I dont really care what presidents past or present do on vacations ... 100 rounds of golf or 400 days in Main striper fishing .. the football is either in a golf bag or in the boat , in reality they arent escaping the responsiblity they are charged with ..

its not a bad idea for a guy with the weight of the country on his shoulders to have some free time just like everyone else with JOBS like to do

A little more salt for the wound http://www.voanews.com/content/georg...r/1363615.html

A better president than some people deserved. Definitely a better person.

That must be a continuously updating link. Check it yourself don't take my word for it. Something about a restaurant owner in Akron dying now...

I can't comment on my feelings unless I can read the story.

Sorry. I didn't know the link would update continuously. I was facetiously referring to this story, where George and Laura Bush were in Zambia building a clinic to help those with cervical cancer.

Here it is, and it is a good thing.

I totally agree. We'd all be flabbergasted if we knew how many people that celebrated the 4th of July have never read the Declaration of Independence.

I wish Mr. Bush would spend more time on his charitable causes than sitting next to Nolan Ryan at the Ranger games, but he served his country well and shouldn't have to answer to anyone about how he enjoys his retirement years.

I seriously doubt he loses any sleep over what people say about him on an escort information blog.

This was one of those very rare instances where my attempt to be funny failed.
