Eating in wichita

I'm going to be in Wichita this evening for then other. Is there a must visit spot for dinner? If so please let me know. Thanks.

Taste and See in Old Town is a good spot. Unless you are asking about DATY. 😬

Taste and See is a pretty good spot. Chester's Chophouse or Siena Tuscan are two good steak options on the pricey end.

My favorite spot in town is Newport Grill. 48 hour boat to table, which means you can get seafood in Wichita, KS.

I like Da Cajun Shack (umm Cajun), El Vincino (brick oven pizza) and El Agave (Mexican) on the East side for ethnic type food, and Pho Hot is my favorite Pho place in town (Little Saigon downtown is good as well).

Wichita has one of the highest per capita restaurant totals in the nation. Skip the chain, go to www.urbanspoon.com and you can get a good feel

Taste and See, is pretty damn good..
Bonefish Grill, Yummy!
Longhorns, hands down! SOME of the best margaritas in town. Delicious filet and baked mac-n-cheese too
Wasabi, if you enjoy a variety of sushi and hot sake...like I do
Heroes and River City Brewery are downtown bar & grills, MMmm. Heroes has the best bloody mary's! Oh, and the food is very good as well

And, dessert with Gemma is pretty fucking amazing too!

And enjoy the town! I've lived a little bit of everywhere and ended up planting roots here. Haven't regretted it.

Try District Taqueria on Douglas and Washington. It's a new mexican taco place, I've been there once and they got some great food!!

I am not that familiar with the dining establishments in Wichita even though I have family living in Derby.

However, I cannot imagine you going wrong by dining at the "Y" of one of Wichita's fine ladies and there are several to choose from! I know from reading they are willing to serve it up and provide excellent customer service you would expect from a fine dining experience at a reasonable cost.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner or late snack, those "establishments" are sure to satisfy even the hungriest of travelers! There is no need to write a review on Yelp, but the rest of us here would enjoy learning about whether you got your fill!

Plus, it is "Titty Tuesday"!! Perfect for dining out!

On the west side, Bella Vita Bistro!! Northern Italian and French. I have sent many out of towners there and ALL have raved.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried Newport Grill. The food is decent, drinks are great, atmosphere is lovely. The service sucks, but it was still nice. :-)
