The ever changing Backpage Ad Picture Guidelines

This morning at 6 a.m.when I perused the KC Backpage Escort ads there were bare breasted pictures in the ads. This afternoon all of those that had exposed nipples had been removed. Yesterday, bare breast were OK and apparently after the Backpage office's opened today the order of the day for the BP Censors was to go after all the exposed breasts ! What is next ?

I tried posting a topless pic last night in an ad and it had been removed. Everyday they are taking something away.

I understand why they are making so many changes so quickly - they are trying to avoid going the way of CL. I get that, but its still frustrating as hell not knowing from one day to the next what the guidelines are, and there is NO attempt to perhaps WARN us of upcoming changes, or give us an opportunity to edit our own ads to conform to newly adopted changes.

I've hated BP for a long time because they utterly refuse to do anything about the massive amount of spam in their ads. But it just keeps getting worse by the minute. I wouldn't advertise there at all and reward them with my money if it weren't for the fact that BP is far and away the most commonly used ad site by the majority of men. To stop advertising there would cut me off from 90% of hobbyists.

The most frustrating thing for me is the changes DAILY. I might have a good BP ad, but then I go to post it and I have to edit it because it has too many words, or they edit it how they feel free to do so.

I just checked my ad out and nothing has been edited and I have a topless pic up and it is still there.

Mya, It appears that ads posted after thursday are getting the BP censors "no bare breast rule" applied to them. If you were to try and repost your ad they most likley will remove those pics.

Sins Of Flesh, I agree with your statement about BP being the location that most men look to to find somebody for entertainment. All the other sites combined do not generate the traffic or views that BP has enjoyed. I just hope BP does not follow the same path as CL and ultimatley pull the plug on their Adult category.

Lux, We all are going to miss those nice BOOBIES ! Pasties, might be a solution as the BP censors seem to only be troubled by bare nipples.

It would be nice to be informed of the rule changes but at least BP is being more proactive than CL. I am sure the BP doesn't want to lose the income generated by the adult section.

Sometimes if you edit the picture and write your name across your boobs they won't count it as being completely topless. It's an easy fix.

Yeah and when they change the rules with out telling you will end up placing ads spending %%..Funny u cant edit ya ad and they can take pics down but cant keep a site update link to let us know whats up-Just let you keep placing ads that once goes thru and when you go back cant edit... ......You cant get $$$ Back after placing ad whick was ok 2 days ago and if you try to edit an old ad to conform to ever changing rules you have to email support...they will send you generic terms of Use email..... even when you didnt ...violate anything...

Anyone notice how the asian massuese ads keeps image ads up... and colored fonts html...do they get more leeway in those ads...?

WOW! No need to make this about race. I just looked through the BP body massage section and the only topless pic was not of an asian masseuse. You should be careful when you make racist comments especially when one of the ladies (me) is Asian and enjoys posting on this board. Maybe you need to stick with posting on the TX boards.

Best thing about it is that if you gonna fly somewhere you can skip the TSA screening and just submit your BP pics to the screener...
