Math does not add up

NYS just hit 70% vaccination rate so mask are not mandated for fully vaccinated individuals. I am only seeing 5% wearing masks so we have a mathematics problem.

My answer is just simple 100-70-5= 25. 25% of the population lies like a rug!

Watching Yanks\Blue Jay game tonight and see empty seats? Time for us 70% demand the 30% losers to man up. Wear your damn mask, buy 3 tickets to social distance. Time for tough love, kick them in the ass and stop free beer,lottery tics and whatever else is used to convince them. Make them pay for their stupidity!

When I go to the supermarket I am seeing about 70% of the people wearing masks. The other 30% are probably those who are not vaccinated.

The republican NY most likely has a 40% vaccination rate, but to their credit, they mostly never leave their area and have no real chance at catching covid anyways. NYC is most likely responsible for most of that 70% vaccination rate.

All that is needed is for the deplorables in FL to keep getting infected and dying to return FL to a blue state, so in the long run it will all work out.

To date, Florida has had about 76,000 hospitalizations and 28,800 deaths.

New York state, which has about 2 million fewer residents, has had 89,995 hospitalizations and 37,000 deaths.

For the week that ended Sunday, 20 states reported increases in COVID-19 cases, compared with three states the previous week.

Missouri had the highest increase with a 101 percent jump to 4,517 new cases.

The CDC reported that Florida had the most new cases in the past 7 days with 10,676. That’s about 3,000 less than the previous week.

Texas was second with 8,421 new cases this past week, about 200 fewer than the previous week.

Colorado was third with 4,137 cases. California was next with 3,967 new cases and Washington was fifth with 3,833.

The CDC reports that on a per capita basis, Wyoming leads with almost 80 cases per 100,000 residents over the past 7 days.

Colorado is second with 71 cases per 100,000 residents, followed by Missouri with 62 cases per 100,000 residents. Next is Utah with 59 cases per 100,000 residents and Arkansas with 52 cases.

There were 21 states that reported an increase this past week in COVID-19 deaths, compared with 11 states the previous week.

Florida recorded the most COVID-19 deaths over the past 7 days with 232.

Texas was second with 217 reported deaths. That was followed by Georgia with 172, Pennsylvania with 130, and Illinois with 118 deaths

Cuz 70% of the population isn't vaccinated. The % reported is 70% of 18 or older that have received at least one dose so theoretically, the fully vaccinated % of the total population is probably closer to 40%-45%
