And if you are replacing the video card, it really helps if you remove the driver(s) before installing the video card driver to avoid conflicts.
Save the updated driver on either a flash drive or burn a CD with all the updated drivers from Dell for that machine.
I forgot to mention that once you hit the Dell support site and find your Service tag, you might check to see what else needs updated.
I can't count the number of times I've updated the BIOS on Dell machines and that solved a good third of current issues as I updated the other drivers and in many cases you MUST update the BIOS before updating drivers.
I agree with rcg001 100% about Frye's but they are also known for selling returned items as new so check closely.
