Meet n' Greet

The board has been way too quiet lately and I think its time to get everyone out and about.

What better way to welcome some of the newer guys and gals to the board and to help kick off a great summer than a meet n' greet!!!

I've picked out two days, both are Thursdays.....May 30th or June 6th. Please comment below to let me know what day works best for you.


Again, you'll have to contact me via PM or email if you wish to attend. You'll also need be screened just like an appointment, gotta keep everyone safe. ANYONE is welcomed, friend or "foe," and I put foe in quotations because I honestly don't dislike anyone, but I'm sure there's a few who dislike me. But, they're still welcomed to attend. Maybe they'll change their mind about me once they meet me.

Feel free to invite whom you wish, but remind them that they will have be screened, so they'll have to contact me.

A donation of $15-20 is all it takes to get you thru the door. That donation is to cover the cost of the food, drinks and location.

I will have corona (seems to be everyone's fav). bottled water, soda's, hors d'oeurves and music. If you wish to drink something different, feel free to bring it with you.


I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there........and there will be a special female making a guest appearance too!!

What time? I know quite a few guys have a tough time coming in the evening. Could it start at 1 or 2 in the afternoon?

June 6 might be better - away from the memorial day holiday week... Certainly Better for me, but thought I'd note the holiday. Thx E for setting his up.

This meet n greet is in no way involved with or promoted by Eccie. Anyone participating does so as an individual and all screening will be done by the promoters off the Eccie site.

@John, I think that your comment is warranted and appropriate given the venue. I also know that there was similar event in the past and it was fun.

I think that everyone realizes that this is not a sanctioned Eccie event. Ms. E does a nice job of defining rules for the evening so count me in. I would like to try for the 30th.

Last time there was a toy drive. Will there be another philanthropic effort?

I can't do that for numerous reasons. The ladies attending either have other jobs or kids and they can't sit around from 1pm until 10pm waiting for guys to show up. In all honestly, neither can I. I have to get everything ready myself, set up the room and then I won't leave until about an hour after the party is over because I have to clean up. That's a very long day for me then.

It'll start at 5:30....sorry.

So far, it seems that June 6th is in the lead.

June 6 gets my vote as well. May 30 may present problems with work since that is a 4 day work week (Monday May 27 is Memorial Day).

I feel like I'm missing out on something with the private comment.




Just remember folks, this meet n' greet isn't for me....I have nothing to gain from it. I'm not looking to meet new clients there, its for the guys and gals to meet people they might not have chosen to meet for some private time. And, you can enjoy some drinks and finger foods while meeting those folks.
