I’ve been craving sushi for a while now. Haven’t had any since September. I know Kansas City loves its bbq but are there any good sushi places around KCK?

As much as I’m in OP you’d think I would know my way around by now haha

Jun's is my favorite. In Prairie Village just across State Line. Downtown I loooove Nara. Bob Wasabi on 39th Street is a fun place too.

I vote for Jun's. It is known by many as one of the best in the country. Professional Chiefs and always the freshest of many fish.

I have been going there for 35 years. I knew Jun before he retired.

Interesting. I have never been out for sushi. I've probably been dodging a bullet with grocery store sushi for a bit too long. Luckily no mishaps. I'll have to check these places out.

I have only dined out for sushi twice, and both were with a "sushi-expert" who knew me and knew what kinds I would and would not like, so it was... enjoyable.

Love sushi! But I usually bring Hot Summer with me when I visit Kansas City & she hates it, so I have to refrain.

I eat it regularly in Northwest Arkansas. Sushi House in Bentonville is my favorite.

There’s only one store I trust to buy sushi and they make it fresh daily in front of you. Otherwise I prefer to order take out or dine in

Yeah, Dillons in Leavenworth does just that. That's my only sushi experience thus far.
