Your health
This is info I think everyone can benefit from. Nov. 5th, 09 I had triple bypass surgery. Never had high cholesterol , blood pressure perfect, resting heart rate of 54bpm , had always been very physically active , 5'10" - 155lbs. I raced bicycles ( 50 - 100 mls ) up until 3 weeks before surgery. Was having mild chest pains at the start of a bike ride , but it would go away after I rode for a short time. Had a stress test, EKG, echo cardio. All showed I was fit as some one half my age. I'm 63. Doctor treated me for acid reflux. Continued to have mild chest pains. Son-in-law insisted I have a angiogram. Had 99% blockage of the LAD artery. Had I not done the angiogram I would probably be dead. Bottom line is don't dismiss chest pain. Find out what it is that's causing it. If one doctor can't find the problem go to another. I'm back to my old tricks, feeling good and ready to kick ass.
