Pelosi Denounces GOP Lack of Recognition of Kwanzaa
In the spirit of the holiday, Nancy Pelosi takes to the House floor to denounce the GOP's lack of sensitivity to Kwanzaa, along with other religions as a reason for lack of movement on the fiscal cliff negotiations.

I find it incredibly amusing that you actually get your "news" and political insights from a place that features shit like this.....you are a fucking idiot.

Now that was a classic strawman argument. Bring up something completely unrelated, knock it down, and consider yourself the victor.
You are as ridiculous as most of the libs on here Timmy. Either address the point or STFU.

When the Dimos honor Kwanzaa, I cringe. Kwanzaa is a made up holiday, invented by sixties radical and convicted felon, Ron Karenga. Showing respect for Kwanzaa is just pandering to get the black vote. The Dimos are shameless.

Our economy is going over the cliff and Pelosi sings about Kawanza - a made up holiday !
But I got to hand it to the Kawanza crowd; When they decided to make up a holiday, they didn't just make it a one day event - seven fucking days !

The Bitch of Botox probably knows as much about Kawanza as she does about fiscal responsibility in Government, which is nothing.
Down here in Texas, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo, and only about one in ten even know what the heck it is. The people in Mexico don't even pay any attention.
It's just understood that it's a holiday invented by the Beer Producers.
Hey, I bet there are Factories in China cranking out toys for Kawanza, just like they do for every other "holiday". They probably have a doll like the old Chatty Kathy that says. "happy Kawanza, Mutha Fucka"
Stupid pandering Bitch.

All holidays are "made up". Jesus wasn't born on Dec 25, that was the day of a Pagan "holiday" that some Roman emperor decided to merge with his Christian subjects core belief, so now we have "Christmas".
Kwanzaa is the only "holiday" that celebrates and teaches African cultural principles.
Of course the GOP will dismiss it. They still haven't learned the lessons of the 2012 elections.

Umoja (OO-MO-JAH) Unity stresses the importance of togetherness for the family and the community, which is reflected in the African saying, "I am We," or "I am because We are."
Kujichagulia (KOO-GEE-CHA-GOO-LEE-YAH) Self-Determination requires that we define our common interests and make decisions that are in the best interest of our family and community.
Ujima (OO-GEE-MAH) Collective Work and Responsibility reminds us of our obligation to the past, present and future, and that we have a role to play in the community, society, and world.
Ujamaa (OO-JAH-MAH) Cooperative economics emphasizes our collective economic strength and encourages us to meet common needs through mutual support.
Nia (NEE-YAH) Purpose encourages us to look within ourselves and to set personal goals that are beneficial to the community.
Kuumba (KOO-OOM-BAH) Creativity makes use of our creative energies to build and maintain a strong and vibrant community.
Imani (EE-MAH-NEE) Faith focuses on honoring the best of our traditions, draws upon the best in ourselves, and helps us strive for a higher level of life for humankind, by affirming our self-worth and confidence in our ability to succee

Many of these fuckers haven't embraced the Civil Rights Act either.
Maybe we should look into the origin of other secular holidays...

If they're going to honor Kwanzaa, then by God, they should recognize Festivus as a national holiday!

I'd rather make fun of you than address whatever silly "point" you think you are making. I could care less what Nancy Pelosi says or thinks about Kwaanza.
Did you order the "Patriot Life Saver" package? On sale today for $27.50 and it's usually $39.99.
Do you have one of those FEMA coffins? Too funny. I bet Whirly has both. He's a prepper. Bonehead.

Well, at least you're enjoying yourself. That's the whole point here. If ignoring the facts and making fun of me enriches your otherwise pathetic existence, go for it!

You have to hand it to Christians, Jews and Muslims; at least their holidays are centered around people/events of significance. As opposed to a seven day excuse to honor what should be honored everyday - mere ideas of solidarity that were codified into a holiday just a few years ago.

Now, that is even more amusing....the man with 15,000 posts on a whore board making judgments about the quality of someone else's existence.
