An architect of the Obamacare program has dared to come out and tell the truth. Health care premiums are going to dramatically increase, not decrease as we were told. Just another government lie.

But no one cares. Too bad. This used to be a great country.

Newflash geniuses...premiums were increasing at an increasing rate before ObamaCare ...the plan actually has little effect and is not the cause of the premium increase. Granted it does little to mitigate it but you need to stop your incessant whining without knowing any facts.

Healthcare costs are increasing, thereby increasing premiums due to a corrupt system of pharmaceautical firms, insurers, providers and lobbyists. And don't forget the congressman (yes...both parties) who for the past 25 years have been bought off to allow this situation to transpire.

Hey, ray, the President said rates and cost would go down. They are going up. This means one of two things. Either he is ignorant, or he lied.

I agree that his plan is bankrupt and will not do what he says. The point I am trying to make is that Obamacare is not the cause of rising premiums. The problem has been brewing for 30+ years and his plan while ineffective is not the main problem. By focusing our attention on this we are misdirected into the real causal factors, namely a corrupt system supported by both parties.

And what you may not know is that the admin has granted waivers to much of the country so the plan has not even been implemented and therefore could not be the cause of rising premiums.

I just got another 4.4% increase in my BCBS plan this week; that is on top of the 8.8% increase they levied in late 2011 !!!!!!!!!

Obamacare is just beginning to increase the cost and reduce the quality and availability of services....it is government run, government mandated socialism. If left as law, it will bankrupt us and make us wards of Obama's stateism !

I keep asking myself what happens when the law is declared unconstitutional, and there is a very good chance of that, to the money that has already been collected from employers? Will this ever be returned or more likely never be seen again as it is swallowed up by the federal abyss.

Everyone obamacare hasnt taken place yet not in effect until 2013. So all healthcare issues of rising premiums are a fact of a totally corrupt system not. Obamacare. We can continue to point fingers and shift blame the real issue is our system is corrupt.....i pay xx amount my company pays xx amount so. Why do we still get a bill after surgery? Stop blaming obama because your other option is romney who already passed a similar healthcare bill.....

With all due respect....many BCBS plans are currently operating under and exemption and do not yet have to implement the provisions of the plan. Secondly...your premiums went up every year before ObamaCare and will go up whether ObamaCare is force or not. I know because I also use BCBS...it has little to do with ObamaCare.

Would obamacare make you feel better when its called romneycare or mccaincare? While I believe gvt should have to get involve i do believe that a company like where my so works as director shou be offered healthcare

health insurance premiums in blue states where coverage mandates fell on everyone is much more expensive.....for example a single young mans health policy in california is almost twice the cost of a comparable policy in texas...

why you ask?

because it was mandated that the policy cover all sorts of things that only small slices of the populace would need or ever need. basic coverage was unavailable.

under obama? the same mandates have caused and will continue to cause a typical policy to skyrocket accordingly

he's been targeting red states since he got in office in just about anything and in any way he can...whether it be environmentally, job hiring, insurance, oil drilling any inmaginative way he can...to spread the misery so that his constituancies will not be in such a competitive pickle

so yeah insurance rates go up but they have really gone up with obamacare..so as more obama mandates come down the pike..well the insurance companies have barely begun their increases

its by design too, for obama wants nothing more than employers, in ever increasing numbers, to drop their policies and pay the up-coming government penalty per employee for non coverage so he can gather all the children into his arms
