First Introductions

Some guys are not in the know and some guys are perfect gentleman, but
do some of ya'll guys know what a gentlemanly introduction is when contacting
a provider for the first time?

Sending me a text that only includes: hey, hi, u available, hows it going, are u there? Etc.
will only get deleted asap.
I don't have a clue who you are and it makes me think you're some teenager
in the basement looking at adult sites playing on your phone.

When sending a first time pm only saying 'im on the way just tell me where im goin and im there or u hot girl im on the way. Not
including a name or anything else and your profile shows you've been a member here for a number of years
and you only have one post, will only get your pm deleted and no response.

And calling me on the phone and we've never met or spoke before, after i say hello the only thing you have to say is: You available
and not wanting to provide any other info just means this phone call will be ending very quickly.

Help me out here am i wrong for deleting and not responding to these 'hey' text messages and the inappropriate pm's and phone calls?

Damnit. I'm going to have to change up my technique now that it's been spoiled for the world to see.

Possibly emailing a provider repeatedly if they don't respond (because I know they're actually reading them) would show them how much I care?

Yep Allison i actually had a guy say i was mean b/c i wanted to screen him and we've never met before.

I didn't get the memo that screening was now considered being mean and you can't
even ask a guy his name now a days

When communicating with a lady for the first time, I always try to introduce myself and be polite. Here's how I usually send a first PM/Text/E-Mail:

Hi, I saw your profile and read your reviews. Based on what I saw and read, I'm interested in meeting you. I'm on ECCIE and have a P411 account. My screen name/handle is cpalmson. Feel free to check me out. It should give you a good idea of me and what I like. Let me know what you think and if you want to meet. Hope to hear from you soon.

By doing this, I let the lady know I'm interested. I give her some info to do screening. I leave the ball in her court.

And after I see that she has logged into the system (ECCIE or P411) where I sent the PM, the clock starts ticking. Usually I give them 24 to 36 hours from the time they last logged into the system where I sent them the PM. If no reply by then, I move on to the next provider.

Maybe a week later, if I was REALLY interested in them, I may send a second PM like "Well, I see that you looked at my PM and were unable to respond. That's unfortunate. I really thought we could hit it off. If, by chance, you simply lost my PM in the many you receive, I thought I'd take another shot at setting up a meeting".

If I get no reply to this one either, I mark the provider as "excluded" on P411 and continue the hunt. Waaaaay too many excellent providers out there to worry about those who can't manage their communication process effectively.

I'm wondering do some guys really have a clue though? Or is it their 8 hour job to send
the bs text messages and bs pm's? Or is this their way and they just do not have a clue????

I don't think you're wrong at all for deleting and/or not responding to "hey" text messages and inappropriate PMs and phone calls. I do that myself. I don't have the time nor inclination to deal with anyone less than a gentleman. My business, my prerogative.
