Petition to Deport Piers Morgan
Sign here.
Piers Morgan engaged in a very serious rant against private gun ownership, using his bully pulpit as a network commentator. A White House petition has been started, asking for his deportation, for that rant.

I'll sign ... I saw part of it and his abusive tone toward guests who disagreed with him.

The shows rating will deport him from CNN soon enough.

Apparently the supporters of the Second Amendment (as misinterpreted by The Court) don't give a shit about the First Amendment. Pathetic

I never watch his show (or anybody else's for that matter), so I don't care. If he wants to shoot his mouth off, so what? It's not like he's going to convince anybody.
The guy is a big enough embarrassment to himself. Besides, CNN pays him way too much. He's good for the economy here. When he loses his job because of ridiculously poor ratings, he will pay his own way back to the UK. So ignore him. He'll go away.

Typical. "Agree with me and I support your right to say and do what you want". "Disagree with me and you don't deserve to live!"
Sorry, if you really feel that anyone who disagrees with you deserves to be deported, then you are a sad human being. What you are saying is you only believe in the parts of the constitution you agree with. Sad.
Was he right? I don't know, I didn't hear it. If he was overly caustic he'll get reprimanded by the network.
But by your logic anyone speaking out for abolition or women's suffrage or for OR against prohibition should all have been deported.
The petition is nothing but a pathetic political posturing. Do you also support establishing gulags for US citizens who have the audacity to think the 2nd amendment needs some modernizing since we are no longer the same society we were 230 years ago?
And what a shock, you're from Texas. I would never have guessed that.

Texas is a part of the United States. Great Britian is not. Over the years the U.S. has sent a lot of people to their deaths WITH GUNS to defend his right to speak English.
We have the 2nd amendment in response to the English "standard." No wonder he doesn't like it. His forefathers didn't either.

You are correct; I must admit my Texas comment was a gratuitous poke at certain Texans who aren't sure what country they actually belong to. It wasn't particularly nice of me.

I am a lifelong Texan who took it as such. In fact, I took it with a smile on my face.
I know full well that I am a proud, lifelong Texan who is first and foremost an American.

And I wasn't challenging your statement, only pointing out what I think to be obvious.
He's a guest here. And his "3 days" are about up.
I saw and heard his remarks.
