If flying in for the game, would you bring your own fun?

Let's say you're an out-of-towner attending the game. For argument sake, let's say it's not the upcoming game so it could be one being held anywhere.

Since you're able to afford airfare and lodging on top of the game ticket, would you bring your own fun with you? Would you rather see a lady local to where the game is held?

Probably go with a known quantity that will travel with me. The only way I'd risk connecting with local talent is if I had seen her before (other exceptions exist--i.e. bucket list).
