Mayor declares martial law in Arkansas
In the sleepy little town of Helena-West Helena (pop. 15,000) has decreed a curfew for all citizens and ID checks. This has been to curb a recent rash of break ins, public disturbances, and burglaries. Officers patroled with M-16s and night vision gear. The democratic (oops, there it is) Mayor has recently had his own run ins with the law over dumping rescued dogs in isolated sections of the county to fend for themselves. Martial law, ID checks, curfews, things are worse than we thought in Arkansas. Imagine how bad things must be getting in Chicago.

Wait! Here is another story about another, different town going to martial law. Another democratic mayor story.

With it going public wonder how long before they issue a retraction or try to say it never really happened.

Yep, gotta do that for the common good, that is what is more important than anything else; like freedom and liberty.

A sign of things to come. After the economy collapses, the welfare parasites will go feral overnight. Martial law will be the only way to avoid complete chaos. It's no accident the military is practicing helicopter strafing runs.

It can't be the third one, since you don't have any balls.

Stock market stays over 14,000 for the first time in 7 years. The company I work for expects to triple it's sales this year. Everyone I know that owns a company reports they are doing great. Obama voted worst commie socialist of all time as companies report record profits.

The stock market is a bubble. It's being inflated by the Federal Reserve printing money. The Dutch made lots of money trading tulip futures for a while too.

JB it is obvious that some here have no idea at all about what you're talking about. Though I did like that part about Hillary.

That's why I posted the link to Wikipedia. Tulip Mania was three hundred and seventy seven years ago and we're still doing the same thing in different forms. The subprime mortgage bubble was another mania. The DotCom boom was another. Today's stock market is a classic bubble. Once the feeding frenzy begins, emotion overides reason. Today's "irrational exuberance" sets the stage for tomorrow's panic selling.
We humans keep doing the same nonsense over and over again. Mark Twain said history doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme.
Here's what's coming.

I think you should put all your profits into a safer investment, like buying a racehorse.
