The new economy and the $80 escort (or "business is not slow")

I'm continuing this from my post in this review here so I stay on topic and don't get my wrists slapped.

I hear so much bitching from the established Eccie girls that business is "slow". I just patronize them and agree. But the truth is that these $200 girls are being out-priced by the $80 and $100 girls (I'll call them Subcontractors). Their business is booming, at least from me. I pay their rent at $80 three times a week. And these are hot 19yo to 25yo girls with firm bodies that love the sex.

Am I a cheapskate? My subcontractors appreciate the help and love me. The big Eccie names don't like me, BUT they text me when they're broke and will take $100. They do act like they're doing me a favor, though, when in fact *I* am the one doing them a favor.

So here's my advice to these ladies boo-hooing about the slow economy:

1.Your business model is not working. You would rather see a good customer once a week for 300 rather than see him 3 times for 100. Unfortunately there are much less of the former and many more of the latter. It is NOT too painful to spend an extra half hour with a guy when you're already in bed with him. Your day is not that busy. I work 8 hours a day in the office with clients. When you spend 8 hours a day with your clients, come talk to me.

The porn biz is hurting due to piracy similar to the way the $200 girls are hurt by the Subcontractors. The porn biz is adjusting to compete with the cheaper amateur, but quality, porn. Are you?

2. I picked a profession I enjoy. It is challenging, entertaining, and I like the people I work with. I go home feeling like I accomplished something most days. Anyone who picks a profession should do the same or choose another. My Subcontractors leave the sheets wet, offer me dinner that they've cooked, and text me to ask how my big meeting went.

3. My Subcontractors appreciate a $40 tip but don't expect it.

4. My Subcontractors would rather take 50 bucks when they call me and I tell them that's all I have. Hey, you called me. And it's better than having your phone turned off.

5. Business is not slow. The ladies taking $80 are not telling you they are. They're seeing 2 guys a day, some tip extra and some take them to dinner, some take them grocery shopping...and they're paying their bills.


Guys: Do like I've done. Be nice to the new ladies. Network with them and have them introduce you to their friends. Let them know they can text you when they need cash. Be easy-going and never demanding and never get upset at a last-minute cancellation. That's all I've done - please don't PM me for names. I've done the legwork.

Good input, Thib and a good response from Dannie as well. It has been my experience that there is room for both types of providers and I have found benefit in both the 100 experience and the 300 experience. It doesn't need to be one or the other.

When I want a mind-blowing unforgettable experience, I will seek a 300 provider. When I need someone to take care of business same day or when I have a limited budget, then I look for the 100 provider. (which I would like to find more of)

If the provider does not provide a mind blowing experience, then they probably won't get much business at the higher level. They should know themselves and set their rates accordingly.

Yes, I would rather see 1 a week at 300, then 3 a week a 100. It's more work for the same amount of money. I prefer quality over quantity. Might want to read his post again. HE spends the time to be nice and friendly and develops that sort of deal because of how he treats them. If his inbox gets flooded with requests I doubt that the girls he does see will be willing to offer the same deal.
