Here's the video of the 75 yo pushed by Buffalo Policeman:
Was he pushed to the ground? I think he flopped. I've seen John Stockton enough to know a flop when I see one.
The guy is in decent shape and tall for a 75 yo. And yes, he admits to protesting for various causes.
He approaches the cops that are clearing out an area. It's obvious "they are on the march." Supposedly curfew started minutes ago. The man has a helmet in one hand and a phone in the other. He stops the cops and touches two with the phone while talking to them.
He may have been pushed by up to three cops. The biggest push is by an officer with a baton. He's pushing the elderly man just like he's be trained - baton across chest.
The man falls backwards but doesn't loose his phone or his helmet. Right before he drops out of frame, it appears that he's going to land on his butt.
Next thing you know he's laying on his back and bleeding out the ear. Strange. From contact to bleeding took about 6 seconds.
Malone's size and strength are precisely the reason he must be accounted a much better flopper than say, John Stockton. As my dad once remarked after watching the monster skid backward on his ass across the hardwood, "Anybody can see it would take a truck to knock him down."
old coot got what he deserved. if he had any sense left he wouldn't be out there protesting but since he was he's an idiot. instead of moving away as he was being told he approaches the officers and gets bumped/shoved/flopped. maybe he should stay home and just put a peace symbol flag in his yard?

i played it slo mo at .25.
two officers pushed him at the same time after he touched the officer on the right twice.
that push was a bit too strong, don't think that could be helped. they did it at the same time.

the doofus was stupid to be touching the officer.
If you pause the video you can view it frame by frame by pressing the period and comma keys.
There's a third officer in the middle who I can't tell pushes the old man or pushes the officer on the left. I'm still saying he flopped.
It looks like he's got a hemotoma on the base of his skull but he bleeds out of his ear. I'm not a dr but that kind of injury I would think means a cracked skull. Many old folks are on blood thinners and bleed profusely. Boomer stay home.
