Glenn Beck is Jiminy Glick. Laughable.

Also, this probably belongs in the Sandbox...........

Default Political Spin....

Found it amusing when I heard on the radio of the conflicting reports as to how well attended G Beck Rally was...Two accts in the media, one of which had used an aerial photog to document, Each estimated the crowd to have been between 150k-close to 200K...
THEN G Beck's camp reports 500K....Man I cant WAIT for election season again, can you?

Lanny

P.S.- its been a LONG time since I was under Dannie

Republican U.S. Rep Michele Bachmann: "we're not going to let anyone get away with saying there were less than a million here today — because we were witnesses."

Kool-Aid anybody?

Hey, hey HEY...HEY, NOW!!! FOX news is NO SPIN, folks. If they said it, then by Gawd, it has to be true.

I have to get something to prop my TV up whenever I run across FOX news, it leans so far to the right....

Humph, FOX NEWS is filled with Red-Blooded, God-Fearing American Patriots who report the news in a fair, clear voice. And if you dont believe thats your all a bunch of left-wing, bleeding heart, pinko, commie, socialist, liberals trying to destroy this great nation!!!

Glen, Bill, your my heros!!!

Bill can actualy be quite interesting to listen to. But Glen, gezzz he can get out there a bit!!

I was at the 8/28 rally and I"m telling you all there were waaaaaaay more than 500k people there. We were packed on all sides backing out to the street, the back of the reflecting pool all the way past the washington monument and then to the surrounding streets by about 1130am. Guys the reflecting pool holds 200k alone. You couldn't get close to the reflecting pool if you were on stilts. Seriously you guys have no idea how many people were there. It was un-freaking-believable. 500k is about as conservative a number as you can get. There were more than you can imagine. It gave me hope. The metro lines took hours. No one ever got angry. Not one mean word was said to anyone. It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It was life changing for me.

Like I've said in an earlier post, I'm learning to have an open mind to those that disagree with me.

The event had nothing to do with politics. It was centered around restoring honor in yourself and your family. HOnoring those that have fought for our freedom and right to peacably assemble. I've never seen so many happy people at 6am. The second biggest thing that stuck out to me is the fact there was NO trash. And I mean NONE. I picked up a stray cig butt and a left bottle of water, but that was IT. And trash cans were hard to find. The third biggest thing I found was about 40% of the people I spoke with were DEMOCRAT.

You all that judge Beck so harshly should listen to him before you pass judgment. His message is about restoring honor to America. bringing us together. He makes more sense than just about any other person I've listened too. If all you know is what the far left has said, you have a very distorted view of the guy. This also falls into the catagory of listening to all sides. I'm forcing myself to really have an open mind to all topics. Some I won't budge on (abortion for example... it's wrong.) But I won't trash you because you might believe it's the right thing to do. I don't answer for your choices and beliefs. I do answer for how I respond to them.

I'm learning slowly but surely.

And having been at the Rally, I can answer any question you guys might have. I've seen the things the media has written and it's been really sad. It almost feels like living in a country whos media is controlled. The Washington Post did the best article and even that one had a couple of inaccuracy's toward the end.

I rarely listen to him but it is sad how an article was written about his "Blacks don't own MLK" comment. I just happen to be listening that day and heard the whole discussion. Taken soooooo far out of context it was really sick. How someone can call themselves a journalist after writing that spin is beyond me.

You dont like him, fine. But to outright lie is just wrong. And if you want to say "but he lies" guess what, you just stooped to his alleged level. I have to turn him off most days as well.
