Default Anyone here a Harper Lee fan?

She died today.

Who hasn't read "To Kill a Mockingbird?"

RIP

Only someone that never went to high school in the South. Come to think of it, sitting in a high school English class isn't a guarantee the readings were done. Shakespeare? Not a chance. But To Kill a Mockingbird was excellent. Haven't read the sequel. Or is it a prequel?

To Kill a Mockingbird was such a game changer. I enjoyed the book and I also love how the film brought the story to life. Rest in peace, Harper Lee.

My favorite Part is when the trial was over and Atticus turns to leave, and ALL the colored folks stand and uncover their heads. Moving... so very moving.
