The other night I was in a city other than my own located in central Texas. I was browsing skip the games and noticed one lady I may want to visit so began to do some research. Googled her number, no other listings or ads. The ad for stg didn’t even come up, area code was from Massachusetts. Couldn’t find anything else about her, all the sirens and red flags were going off but contacted her anyway. Mistake #1. Then she was sporadic in responding and it was getting late so told her no thanks. That’s when all hell broke loose. She had my name, names of family members and my kids and told me she was going to post all this online unless I sent her $500 on paypal and on and on. Threats, extortion, more threats and so forth. I have to be honest I freaked out when she started listing off the names of my kids. Mistake #2. I paid the $500. Yes it was dumb and I could have fought it, but unless you’ve been in that situation you don’t realize the stress. I was so nauseous I threw up. Yes I panicked, yes I caved and yes I got what I deserved. Mistake #3. She kept contacting me and I finally came through the initial shock and grew some balls. I didn’t pay the other 5-6 demands that came through within the hour and with each one I grew less intimidated. She went away, and I haven’t heard from her since. Don’t think I will. I didn’t actually see her, but I was dumb enough to be bullied into the situation. So, do your homework, listen to that little voice, and eventually decide if it’s worth the risk for your kids and/or wife to receive a text, email, or social media message from a psycho. I wish she had said my brother’s name, I would have told her to hang on and I would have put him on the line and that he was down for a turn as well!!! Be smarter than me.

Roadhouse ... we appreciate you sharing. Truth be told, something similar to this has probably happened to nearly all of us ... Hobbiest and Provider alike!!

No matter how good we are at screening, researching, or hiding our RW identity, we all have to be on guard for low life such as what you experienced.

I have had someone try to extort $ from me twice. Both times, they threatened to out me to my family unless I sent them $ via cash app. One of them even sent me a photo of my 19 yo son. But I knew if she was unethical enough to extort $ that it would never end. So I chose to just break all ties with her (block her on all fronts) and prepare for the storm at home. I know of others with similar experiences and we all have/had burner phones. I simply gave to much personal verbal info to someone who had't earned the right to have that info. Something that I knew better than to allow happen.

I know of others who put rooms or rental cars in their name to be burned by the provider later who borrowed the room or rental car. These are guys with experience who (like me) knew better than to allow it to happen.

Although it is for different reasons, Providers have to deal with similar shit like this. No one in the hobby is immune from scum like these scammers.

The important thing is (assuming you are still willing to take the risk) that you learn from your own mistakes as well as the mistakes of others who are willing to share.

So here is what I typically do with stg girls that are unknown. I use an app that requires no signing up or anything called text plus. I only download the apps I use when I’m ready to have some fun so there is nothing in my phone for the so to find. The text plus app is only to make contact for the first visit. It doesn’t store any conversations or numbers after you delete it. If the visit is a success I contact them the next time on another app that I can secretly store the number and conversations in. I have done some investigation in the text plus numbers I have used and can never find anything in them. I’m sure there is a way for someone smarter than me to dig up some info but I can’t find it.
