Any Rush fans here? If so check this out.
On another board we were researching Rush Tribute bands and I found this one. Rush is without a doubt the 3 best musicians ever to share the same stage and a very hard band to cover. These guys nail it unlike any. Close your eyes and you would think it's the e actual guys from Canada.

Rush is one of ATF bands also. Rush used to come to Corpus Christi a lot from the mid 1970's to early 1980's. They played their concerts at the old Memorial Coliseum that was torn down several years ago. Corpus used to get a shit load of Rock n Roll bands/concerts that played at the Memorial Coliseum & the old Ritz Theater during the mid 1970's to early 1980's.

Listen to those guys, it would almost be as good if they don't tour again. I have listened to all of the good Rush tribute bands and these guys are by far the best.

Why couldn't I be serious. If I asked you who here likes Deicide or who here likes Godspeed You! Black Emperer. Would anyone else know.
My favorite bands are NOFX, Pennywise, Lagwhagon, No Use For A Name, Millencolen, and Face to Face

Well they have only been touring for 40 years. Even the Eskimos have heard of them.

Rush is a very talented 3 piece Rock band from Canada that has been around since the 1970's & is a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Their music is very complex/difficult for cover bands to play their songs.
RockChip, I have to assume you must be fairly young if you have never heard of Rush. I am an Old Fucker in my 50's and have never heard of any of your Favorite bands. I am not saying they are not talented-just never heard of them.
Personal tastes in Music is very subjective & age related. Just like personal tastes in women is very subjective-I like slender women, other dudes like thick meaty chicks which I don't care for/like. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder along with personal tastes in music, one man's trash is another man's treasure.
I like & listen to a wide variety/genres of music, I own 1600+ Cds & 400+ vinyl albums-Rock, Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Heavy Metal, New Wave/Punk, Blues, Jazz, Motown R&B, Classical, Real Country-Old School Hardcore Honky Tonk Country Music, Rockabilly/Psychobilly, Bluegrass, Texas Country/Red Dirt Music, Tejano/Conjunto/Norteno.

Another Canadian Rock & Roll Band Pat Travers used play concerts on a regular basis in Corpus Christi at the old Memorial Coliseum mid 1970's to early 1980's. Pat Travers plays lead guitar, I liked his music. Pat Travers switched genres a number of years ago & now plays Blues Music.
I remember when the Canadian Mckenzie Brothers & Moosehead Beer & using eh in their vocabulary hit U.S. TV back in the 1980's. My buddies & I thought they were extremely funny.

Triumph also was from Canada. It looks like the two things that are produced at a high quality level from the Great White north are:
1) Musicians
2) Porn Stars

You are forgetting BC Bud, Molson Ice and probably the best ski resort in the world Whistler Blackcomb.
And probably the greatest musician to ever walk the earth. Justin Beiber.
