I can't say too much about him. For one thing, I don't live in Pittsburgh. For another- too early to tell.



The only controversy so far is over the whole "cops tasered a guy & he died" incident.
Protesters demanding names of the cops before the investigation is even over? Wait for all the details to be investigated. Find out if the cops are guilty or not. This isn't CSI where crimes are solved in 24hours. If the cops are guilty, then by all means release the names.

Sofie was during my childhood. The only thing I remember is when someone came to Pittsburgh and criticized us for having the point fountain on during a drought...and Sophie left her office, went to the point, got on stage and ever so politely told them to fuck off cause it's a river fountain, not fresh water.

I really must learn that nicely say fuck off trick.

For those commenting on the incoming Mayors performance, y'all know he is a current PA House Rep, right? You already have access to judge his proformance based on what he's been up to in Harrisburg.

I tore him apart in a blog post...he requested a meeting with my org...and we chatted for almost 2 hours. I respect that. He takes the time to listen to people. I'm not even his constituent and he listened and asked thoughtful questions on our presentation.

We will definitely see what he does come January.
