Meh, over rated in my book, but I'm pretty picky when it comes to food. The chicken is far from the best in the area. Small breasts and dry.

Well I went....I did like the chicken/potatoes & gravy.....It was not the quality I am used to ,being from the south......And the buffet did not have a very good selection for the price .....but it filled me up. I don't think I would ever go back though.

I think the food sucks there. It used to owned by a different owner and the food was great then but since it became the roadhouse it's gone downhill.

Must be a high volume dining establishment. Sounds like it reached a burnout phase. Sorry for your bad experience, Dee, but thanks for toftt. GFS bs anyway. There's better selection out there stick to well reviewed diners from now on. You'll never be disappointed.

I dont know. I've been there several times and never had a bad experience. Maybe she just caught it on a bad day. Doesn't even sound remotely like the Roadhouse I know. Maybe its a ymmv thing. I could just be special and they put out an extra good spread for me.

Maybe if she tipped things would've been fresher and juicier. I know she already paid a hefty fee but I'm typically treated well at most places bc I leave extra and I also know ppl don't typically tip at buffets but I like the results I get from the paying the additional costs. Sorry to say this but sounds like it's totally Dee's fault. You get what you pay for. They've obviously adjusted their service for their "special" ppl. Sorry to ruin it for the rest of you by inflating the diners hypothetical ego buuuut...I like my insides juicy, my thighs hot and my breasts big. I have found this combination creates a much richer gravy. Well worth it.

If you're looking for good chicken / chicken fried steak, I'd check out The Blatt. There's one in West O at 168th and Center and one downtown.
