Daily Beast Hit Piece on Andrew Yang . Why ?
It's interesting that the hard left leaning DB is doing a hit piece on Andrew Yang. Could it be that his propositions undermine statist quo ?
The article gives away what the feel good left is really up to : greater government control over everything .
"It is an approach not only opposed to the democratic socialism of Bernie Sanders, but to the core philosophies of the Democratic Party. Yang’s prescription stands against the notion that the state, through policies and legislation, needs to play a more muscular role in social and economic life. "

The liberals want minorities to be grateful and support the rest of their policies.
I hope to see a future where Asians, who are naturally mostly conservative and hard working and support themselves and their families, stop supporting all the nation destroying policies of the left.

More TDB psychobabble. He's not a DNC approved candidate. It's as simple as that. Yang is about 8 years too early.

LOL!
Seriously. How many of you give a shit whether he's even in the race? Or Marianne Williamson, for that matter?
And since when did any of you care what the Daily Beast posts? It's all fake, right?

I'm more interested in why the DB would attack one of' their own' at this stage of the game. if he's inconsequential, why bother ?
Unless, he has some ideas that are a threat to the statist quo.
And, as new agey as it may seem, the Universal Basic Income idea is worth exploring. How else to deal with increased automation putting the majority of workers out of a job ?

No idea.
Reminds me in a way of Malcolm Forbes' flat tax.
That, too, had no chance, probably for similar reasons to the one you stated.

You think the crisis at the border is bad now. Promise everyone Universal Basic Income.
You think the crisis at the border will be bad then. Promise every older person a Social Security Check whether they put in penny one.
Let Venezuela be Venezuela.

So, what do you suggest for endless automation putting people out of work ?
The idiots demanding $15 an hour don't realize that most of them can be replaced by kiosks.

typical Republican response. you talk about curbing deficits, and hate Government handouts, but you are first in line when the money rolls off the assembly line.
