Default 30 GOP Senators would vote to convict if vote done in secret

I posted this a while back, seems it is still true!

If you posted it before, stop spamming the board with it. That's a rules violation. You don't seem to have a problem bumping stuff from years ago.

I’ve read a few articles on that matter. It seems it is a lot easier done than I once thought.
If they classify the vote as top secret does that mean I’m gonna have to live another twenty five years to hear the verdict ?

The vote count will not be secret, who vote guilty or not would be kept secret.

That is why they'd dump the SOB because no one would know how they voted. Our God damn Trump lovers are bat shit crazy. They'd primary out anyone who voted to oust their Lord and Saviour!

Senator Coons is a Democrat, what makes him think he can speak for thirty Republicans. Furthermore if Trump has really committed an impeachable offense no one should feel compelled to vote in secret. Secret proceedings is something we as Americans are suppose to be opposed to yet our political leaders think it's a normal way of doing business. They need to be locked up and the OP needs his head examined for posting this crap.

As if ftw and the "source" can speak authoritatively for every Senator before one iota of evidence has been presented.

Reading minds again, ftw??

There’s a Surprisingly Plausible Path to Removing Trump From Office
It would take just three Republican senators to turn the impeachment vote into a secret ballot. It’s not hard to imagine what would happen then.

Far from fake news. Making rules for secret vote is very possible.

which one of you traitorous jackasses posted that McConnell might "turn" on Trump? hold a secret vote? was it you? FTW=WTF? ecky9.5k? all of you traitors?

the depths of your desperation is both amusing and disturbing.

won't happen. McConnell wants all the senators on record. ALL OF THEM. including all the Democrats running for president (they will be rescued by Roberts) and all of them running for re-election.

The rules of the trial haven’t been agreed upon silly. That step is still to come. The probability is unlikely but the possibility is valid.

by your logic it's impossible. every time you refer to McConnell as "Moscow Mitch" you defeat your own argument that McConnell would hold a secret vote in order to force Trump out.

so which is it, idiot? are Trump and McConnell vassals of Putin as you've bloviated so many times or aren't they? you can't possibly argue Putin wants Pence or any Democrat as president over his vassal .. can you?

oh wait .. Putin controls the Democrats too. got it!

j666-The probability is unlikely but the possibility is valid.

Therefore - by the rules of DPST logic - since we think it is a possibility - it is therefore a "Truth" - and must be bowed down to as DPST narative.

Got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell to self deluded narrative swallowing idiots.
