Is that the Elvis Costello / Steely Dan tour?

I like Steely Dan, even tolerated Donald Fagen's then GF Rosie Vela's CD. But they play too much of them on 91.1 Jazz FM in Toronto. They just aren't jazz. Sorry.

Steely Dan was the best. Aja was one of those albums that everybody had. Great chick songs like Josie, Peg and Hey Nineteen.

It was still September

I believe Steely Dan has been touring without Becker for a while now so I suspect the bank will play on. Saw EC over the summer - great show

Didn't know they were already touring without him. Interesting.

I saw Costello this past summer. I figured it would be boring. Nope! Quite excellent. He's still got it.

Ruthie will give you the silver key
To open the red door
Lay down your Jackson and you will see
The sweetness you've been cryin' for

Knock twice, rap with your cane
Feels nice, you're out of the rain
We got your skinny girl

Drink Scotch whisky all night long
And die behind the wheel
They got a name for the winners in the world
I want a name when I lose
They call Alabama the Crimson Tide
Call me Deacon Blues

Hey Nineteen is a great song and offers a tremendous outlining of the issues which arise when attempting to communicate in English with a hook about anything other than handing your money over.
