The president did not lie. Any policy prior to 2010 can be continued. The ACA was signed in 2010. The policies that are being cancelled started after 2010. The law as written does not apply to these policies. The White House is considering options to fix the cancellation problem. You right wingers can calm down.

LMAO! Obama still lied at least 10 more times after the law was passed when he reaffirmed the pledge that if you like your healthcare plan you can keep it. And he never applied any caveat that it only applies to plans that hadn't changed after the law's passage, when he repeated his lie at least 37 times since he became President. There is nothing patriotic about wanting a America to become just like all the other socialist countries.

It's real easy to explain, using you as an example. Before Obamacare, you were in the high risk pool because you were at high risk of having increased healthcare costs, and as a result you had to pay your fair share.

Under Obamacare, you are now treated as though you are not as high a risk as a young, healthy person, and they now have to pay for your share of healthcare costs as well.

Nobody is arguing it's a great deal for you, and there is no doubt as to whether or not you will capitalize on it. But what you fail to see, the moral part of the equation. is that most people should, or would actually feel shame for having to, or taking from others without their consent. But you feel nothing morally wrong in doing so, simply because there is now a law.

Obviously we were raised from different ilk's with different beliefs, and will never agree.

I agree, in theory. Socialism is a wonderful read and if it were played out as theorized, would result in an almost utopian environment. In reality, the capable, eventually fail to participate, and choose to live off the production of others and therefore are unworthy of receiving the benefit.
