Web Link...and tip on good location to stay?

I have just found out that my web link in my signature had a typo in it and I have just fixed the issue. I had several messages letting me know the mistake, and I thank each of you for letting me know.
It is now fixed.
And I look forward to visiting this beautiful city of yours. Could anyone give me some tips on where (and where not) to stay? I normally don't stay downtown when I visit a city, but I do love downtown New Orleans.
I love the Metairie area as well. So, any tips on upscale locations would be amazing and very appreciated.
