First time since 1948, propaganda is now legal in the U.S.
Well, at least he's making it official.

Lets you off the hook, Unaliar!
You are mattering less and less in the conversation. Your Blow buddies seem to have fled your stupidity.
You Republicans just can't face reality.

Propaganda has been prevalent for decades. It just went by different names -- Advertising and political ads -- all lies. And the sheeple respond in droves.

The government has been using the media to disseminate propaganda for years. Like so many of our so called "laws" there is no enforcement except for selective enforcement.
When they cant use propaganda, they changes the rules. It is like telling us that inflation is very low.....yeah right.

2. the deliberate spreading of such information, rumors, etc.
3. the particular doctrines or principles propagated by an organization or movement.
That’s what I thought. You posted something by someone else and didn’t confirm it.
Anything for a post count, huh?
I thought you would know something about the 1st Amendment.

A step too far Munchie. You bring up the first amendment. That applies to people and not the government. People can lie all they want (as long as they don't defraud, slander, or harm someone else with their words or the consequence of their words) because it is protected speech. The government has no such protection. The president cannot legally lie to the American people and though never formally presented I suspect the same thing holds true for the Congress.
Edward Bernays is the father of modern propaganda. He used his knowledge of human nature and psychology to sway opinion and to create beliefs that benefited his clients. Bernays was a progressive leftist but he worked for a dollar. Why do you think we believe that bacon and eggs are for breakfast? That wasn't true, or thought to be true, a hundred years ago.

You assume the government will lie. You won't deal with their statements as they are made.
They might be disseminating true information.
But you can't even wait till they hand something out
You claim they will lie about everything.
That's objective and un-biased and fair and balanced and blah, blah, fucking blah.

The government has no rights. At one time people actually controlled the government and not the other way around.

They might be disseminating true information. Yeah, right! LOL!
But you can't even wait till they hand something out Why wait? Avoid the rush. Actually, it is easier to stop a lie before it starts.
You claim they will lie about everything. Duh. They do.

You make this too easy, Münchausenman. You are such a blind fool. It would sad if you weren't so funny.

"Ask yourself why totalitarian dictatorships find it necessary to pour money and effort into propaganda for their own helpless, chained, gagged slaves, who have no means of protest or defense. The answer is that even the humblest peasant or the lowest savage would rise in blind rebellion, were he to realize that he is being immolated, not to some incomprehensible noble purpose, but to plain, naked human evil." | Ayn Rand, The Virtue of Selfishness

I have to disagree especially since Munchie is unsuccessfully trying to read my mind. I ASSUME that the government is lying to me but I do expect it with this bunch. Everyone starts with a clean slate and nothing ever gets erased. Every lie adds up, a possibility becomes a probability, a likelihood becomes a motus operandi, and the expectation becomes a near certainty. Obama has made his bed and he has zero credibility. Zero! Do you know how hard it is get to that point. Nixon spent most of his life before he hit zero and Obama did it in just four or five years.
