There you have it folks, "The Sky REALLY IS FALLING" appears to be nothing more than a lot of wishful thinking on StupidOld LyingFart's part!

especially liberals for their religion, their reason for being, their world view, is inextricably woven into politics and winning and coming out on top, creating a humorless zealotry

Sure, they are.
We non-rat-wangers that you weenies like to refer to as "libtards" (i.e. anyone who doesn't toe the Teawipe line) have well developed senses of humor. Unfortunately, for C.O. Grits' comedic career, the operative part of that is "well developed."

Missile? That is ridiculous propaganda. How stupid do they think people are?
The 10-ton rock which was moving at 10 Kilometers PER SECOND!!! blew apart from the heat and pressure of colliding with the atmosphere. It was still several kilometers high when is disintegrated.
The "vapor" trail behind the meteor was a debris trail of particles burning off the meteor prior to explosion. The missile could not have come from behind. There isn't a missile in the world that can move at 10 kilometers per second to catch up with the meteor.
The missile would have had to come from the side or the front, in which case you would see a separate, much smaller, exhaust trail from the missile. And even then, that would be an impossible shot due to the extreme speed of the moving target and the complete lack of warning. It only takes a few seconds for a meteor to hit the atmosphere and burn up.
The meteor would blow up LONG before the Russians would ever be able to detect the meteor, track its path, activate a missile battery, launch a missile and have the missile climb up several kilometers to the altitude of the meteor in order to get in front of it and cause a collision.

Gotta love the Russians. They're like the N Koreans, anything to build themselves up and make their military capability look better than it is.
Then you have this clown. Looks like political hacks are everywhere

Moscow. Farid Akberov – APA. Russian nationalist lawmaker Vladimir Zhirinovsky, long known for his flamboyance and outrageous remarks, said Friday that meteorite fragments had not rained down on Russia in the morning, but that the light flashes and tremors in several of the country’s regions resulted from US weapons tests, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
“Those aren’t meteors falling, it’s the Americans testing new weapons,” Zhirinovsky, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, told journalists several hours after the Emergencies Ministry began issuing statements on the incident, which has injured hundreds and damaged scores of buildings.
He also said US Secretary of State John Kerry had wanted to warn Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov about the “provocation” on Monday, but couldn’t reach him – a reference to US State Department comments earlier this week that Kerry had spent several days trying to speak to Lavrov by phone to discuss North Korea and Syria.
Outer space has its own laws, Zhirinovsky went on.

Being "independent" only means you don't identify with a party. You are clearly a liberal. Unless we include infantile schoolyard humor, you dont' have a sense of humor.
