So lemme get this straight. Pelosi and her posse ramrodded a sham impeachment thru and declared Trump is an imminent danger to our very Republic. He must be removed immediately to save our country. Then she sits on the articles of impeachment and takes a month off. Then she invites Trump to give the address in the very chamber where they impeached him. It’s a silver platter for Trump to crow about his achievements!!! Way to go Nancy!!!!

Yeah, Nancy screwed it up trying to be partisan last year and was owned by Trump in the end as usual. She had to try to make amends this year.

I started the thread fucknuts, not Eccielover. Pelosi doesn’t have to invite the POTUS if she doesn’t want to. After all, he’s a danger to our Republic. But it’s a golden opportunity to bash the impeachment and tout ALL of the good things happening. The ratings will be thru the roof! Unlike the Democrats debates. No outrage at all doofus. It’s ALL GOOD.

Yeah, it's all good for Trump with this. Pelosi tried partisan games last year and got owned. This year she simply relented and went with the normal invite. Trump wins again.

Senate Conviction is highly unlikely - people see Pelosi playing games with American Consitituional procedures, and it will come back to bite the DPST's.

usually, the state of the union address takes place in late January. guess whats happening in January (well maybe, maybe not) ...

optics should look bad if the senate trial starts before or after the address.

personally, he shouldn't do one at the house. do a televised address from the white house or just send a letter to congress and media.

The Constitution does not say a thing about all of the Pomp and circumstance that surrounds the SOTU report. President Trump could simply send over a written report to the House and Senate.
