Default When is a Military Coup not a Military Coup?

Apparently when big bucks are involved. It turns out we have a Law that says, in affect, we cannot send aid to a Country whose Government is the result of a Military Coup. Or something to that affect.

So President Obama dare not utter the dreaded "C" word, even though that is exactly what happened in Egypt.

If it quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck, it's probably a duck.

Except when the President can't say "duck"

Talk about a quagmire. We really want to back this "coup" because having a bunch of Muslims turn Egypt into a Sharia Based Theocracy is not in our best interest.

But, what would happen if a bunch of Generals decided they didn't want the USA turned into a European Style Socialist regime.

We know it can't happen here, so we can have our cake, and eat it too.

Egypt has about 80 million people.

At most, there were a tad over 1million in e streets.

Do they speak for the other 79 million?

My point is, when you are ok with a military coup because "the people demanded it", are you ok with it in our Country if "the people demanded it".

A coup is not a coup if you are for it. If you are not it is.
