I fully understand that ladies can charge whatever they want, and conversely I can choose to vote with my wallet. I understand that we're in Las Vegas and that the vast majority of clients are guys that roll through here a couple of times a year, and usually have more money than sense.

However, that leaves those of us that are local paying tourist prices. While I have two special ECCIE friends that I can see for $200 and $300 respectively, I would like to branch out...but not at $500/hr.

Try charging that in DFW and you'd be a very lonely lady.

I really don't expect any responses but I'm throwing this out here regardless. Are there any ladies that would consider some sort of a local's discount for those southern Nevada guys that would see you regularly throughout the year?

I feel your pain Roger Murdock! Same goes for Cali and Seattle where I travel often, only very few can get away with charging those prices in those areas...

I also work in the casino biz here and the prices we charge for things are ridiculous compared to other hotels in other cities but we get away with it because we are Vegas so it is all relative.

I guess I have just learned to deal with it and as a result the frequency of my experiences here in town are not as often as it would be if the prices were less. Don't get me wrong I do we'll for myself but there is some principle involved with paying $6 or even up to $1k for couple hours which is what the ladies ranges are for the ones that strike my interest for the most part so when ladies visit from out of town and only raise their prices a bit I go for it!

I offer "frequent friend" specials for those who visit weekly and monthly. For friends who visit me every week I offer a great rate. For those who come monthly it's still a big discount but frequency earns favor.

I will add however I only offer the deals after a few full priced sessions so I know they have every intention of visiting often and not just get a discount on the one or two dates.

As a fellow Texan...I too have noticed the substantial increase. As you stated...ladies wouldn't get much clientele in DFW with Vegas pricing.

I'll be in Vegas soon, and I'll be looking for some company...but will be lited based on what the ladies offer. It may take some leg worm but P411 & ECCIE should help narrow down some ladies.

Well then it's a good thing we are not in Dallas. The thing is, it is Vegas, the land of sin supposedly and there are plenty of well reviewed providers in ALL price ranges, you just have to do your due diligence. Just because a lady you want to see is out of your range, is not reason to come on here and act like someone took away your candy.

That being said, the boards for Vegas tend to have more ads for higher (which is subjective anyway) rate providers as guess what? The price range and screening requirements you are used to in Dallas, advertises primarily on BP and similar ad sites here, and more than likely, doesn't know boards exist. She may have reviews somewhere, doubtful on a website. You are just going to have to do more research than you may be used to as well, to find someone reputable within your budget.

Also, and this may come as a surprise, but some ladies set their rates higher because they don't want to be high volume, among other reasons. Heck some, myself included, don't see locals either. And it's not because of this perception (by local gents) that visiting gents have more money to spend. As for why, well that is another thread...

Ummmm here's a personal experience: During these hot and painfully slow summer months, I'm getting messages from some ladies to see if I'm interested in a meeting based on my previous (not repeat SP, but those whom I had contacted but didn't end up seeing for one reason or another). One of them was on the top of my list but when I checked her donation & it was 500, I thought of not responding but then I thought if I were her, I would've wanted to know why a potential client lost interest. So I simply told her that she was out of my budget. She was actually really cool about it & asked what I was comfortable with... I wasn't counting on getting any responses from her, so I was rather pleasantly surprised. We discussed & the rest is history (of course like everything else YMMV).

Another hurdle for being a local here is the hotel arrangement... I've simply asked a couple of recent SP's I saw (who normally didn't have incall), and they gladly booked the room (they paid for it).

So sometimes you just have to ask. Let's face it: if they're smart and they need the business, they may be more than willing to work with you... Yes there are suckers out here (aka shitfaced tourists with their daddy's money) who pay the $$$$$+/hr, but they'll go back home & when the next summer rolls around, I'll still be here... Just like there are seasonal workers, there are also seasonal clients. They may pay more, but they are, naturally, seasonal hence unreliable & temporary. ijs

Oh and to add to the DFW vs. LV discussion, do some research here and you'll easily find quite a few Vegas providers who tour other areas including DFW. It amazes me how their rates all of a sudden drops (sometimes by as much as $/hr), the minute they're outside of Vegas. Cost of living is considerably lower here than many other major metropolitan areas of the country...

Thank you for doing the research on the numbers as it proved my point. That gents hobbying in Vegas need to plan ahead as while the number of providers, legit or not, probably rivals DFW, the number of reputable, is much, much smaller. Which means less chance of having quality experience if left to last minute. It also shows that the higher rates are justified based on availability, or lack thereof rather.

Oh and by the way, clarifiying that you think hobbying here sucks was not needed. It is blatantly clear how you feel, whether you realize it or not, in many of your posts.

You aren't happy here yet you want reduced rates. Sounds like fun. Good luck!

A good provider plans for the summer months to be slow. As with any business, it's cyclical, and the lack of traffic is in line with other industries.

Yep, some ladies will book an incall upon request. That's not unusual. I'd rather have a client who is back in town several times a year than deal with a local and all the headaches that came with it. It's been almost three years since I stopped seeing locals and the last 8 experiences, all different clients, were the same. High maintenance, got pissy if I was already booked, asked for discounts (shocker), same day requests whether they were single or not. One wanted a girl friend, one wanted a mistress, a few wanted to "hang out" aka OTC time. PITA. No, thanks, I will take seasonal any day over that drama.

Are some providers willing to negotiate because it's the summer and Vegas is always slow? Of course! I've given discounts for repeat clients but for new? Nope, not going to happen... Civilian or this demimonde. And yes, if a provider tours a smaller or more competitive market, it is not unheard of for her to lower her rates. I did it when touring a small market last year. NBD.
