Bill Clinton and the rise of the BJ!

I recently had a discussion with a hobbyist in his 50's about how the BJ became the norm. He claimed that in the 80's it was near impossible to find a girl that would perform this service, especially BBBJ. His take was that after the Monica Lewinsky scandal it started becoming more and more popular. I'm not yet 40 and fairly new here so I pose the question to anyone who has been in this game for long enough to have an opinion. Does Bill Clinton deserve at least some credit for the service that is universally enjoyed by clients, the BJ?

Clinton might have made the BJ more popular, but it has been a staple of escorting/providing for as long as I've been in the hobby (which pre-dates Lewinsky). Now maybe Clinton can take credit for the increase in providers offering BBBJ, but I would discount that as well. BBBJ is just part of the natural evolution of sex within the hobby.

I agree on the economy, while our business is great now, it was rather good during the Clinton years as well.

As for the question, I am 65, and I cannot remember when a BJ was not a popular menue item. President Clinton simply made the statement that getting a BJ was not sex, openning the door for millions of teenagers to lie to their parents when they were asked, "are you having sex"?

I would agree with you here Jackie, that is my take on the Clinton story.

I would just point out that the economy didn't really get going till Newt Gingrich took over as Speaker of the House and Republicans took control of both the House and Senate.

I've never known it to be unpopular maybe back in the 50's when a good girl just didn't do that sort of thing. I would have loved to have given Bill the most erotic oral encounter of his life but without all of the media attention, I am way more discreet.
