Forum Disappointment!

I arrive at a place in my thoughts today that I want to go to the first class seating on this plane ride of Eccie.(LOL)
So I click on this forum, for I know it will be a refreshing change to the known average or below average topics; or so I thought!
The first two or 3 threADs where to say the least shocking to read in this forum.
Car Dates, DTF which I had to google. And wording like ( IS YOU HERE) LOL

DID NOT EXPECT those type of things on this forum at all. I didn't even know you could post ads in this area much less car dates.

Most have been in positions where a hoopty was driven or you clipped coupons just to make it. Ate ramen noodle soups just to feed an empty stomach or ate from the dollar menu. When you needed the cheapest hotel just to stay the night etc. etc.
Hell some still do those things once and awhile now today but they sure shouldn't go to this forum to talk about those type of discounts, budgets deals. Talk in a (Hood Rat) way.
Sorry, I knew no better way to put that.

When you go to first class seating you expect just that.
When the seats are just as close together and you get treated exactly the same as the rest of the plane you feel kind of duped.

I think what the OP was trying to say, if I may empathize a bit, is that the forum world of Eccie was (understood to be) a forum for a classier kind of erotic tryst between OUTCALL or INCALL escorts and the seeker of the car date cheapens the role of everybody in seeking something so basic only a streetwalker is good for. That's how I took it. Unfortunately you can't pick the kinds of brains that follow a sex forum. It is what it do... (<---see what I did there lol)

Open your mind to the bigger world. The thought that only "discount people" drive "hoopties" eat "ramen" and "clip coupons" is many things, though naive comes to mind first. Google "Rich Dad Poor Dad" Or "The Millionaire Next Door."

You said nothing inappropriate and your post was well-stated. Many of us long for the old HDH Forum days when we gathered to banter about spirits and dining and travel, and perhaps a bawdy activity or two.

We, or at least I, never understood the transition to unmoderated space. Nevertheless, ladies and gents started moving to other, private forums and soon enough this particular forum was threadbare.
