Palm Beach again!!!!
Up to 27,000 ballots have been found to be spoiled and unable to be counted by machine. So now, the people who brought you 2000 will now be filling out copies by hand. Yeah, no trust issues here.

What does that have to do with....oh, you don't understand the election process in South Florida. You see they have a county election board that is responsible for thing like butterfly ballots (remember them?), absentee ballots, voting machines, and vote counting. It has nothing to do with the governor or the secretary of state. When the election is over the secretary of state calls for all the numbers from the counties and calls the election. This is all on the same county that gave us 2000 and hanging chads.

There are election observers from both parties on their way to Palm Beach as we speak. One lawyer in my firm is going for the Democratic Party. Training starts Monday. Lots of Republican lawyers on the way, too. Several of my colleagues from other firms are going to Ohio and Wisconsin. The Democratic Party has literally thousands of lawyer volunteers going to swing States. Same with the Republican Party.
In Texas, the Texas Democratic Party has thousands of lay election observers ready in heavily minority precincts that have been targeted by the so-call King Street "Patriots" for voter suppression. They also have lawyers on standby. This will be the most scrutinized election in history.

Here's a couple of the TushHog's "colleagues" eager to insure the Republicans don't suppress any minority voters.

We need all the help we can get. Why couldn't those gentlemen be poll watchers? Just because they're black?

Been an election judge a few times up here. It sounds nice but the reality if different. We commonly had only one person, ONE PERSON, deliver the ballots to the county seat.
What is happening in Florida is happening now while there are no monitors. Can we trust these to read a ballot and transfer that information accurately to a new ballot? We see what they were capable of in 2000.

The box was locked, though, right? If not, that is very poor security indeed.

You have your Kool Aid glasses on again, TTH, and you can't see the club in the man's right hand. BTW, jail birds do not make good "poll watchers". The bars make it difficult for them to see what's going on.

Those guys in the pics are part of the new black panther party, several of them were at polling sites during the last election to make sure blacks and latinos were not intimidated into not voting. It worked too.
BOTH parties are going to be fighting tooth and nail over every vote in the swing states because this election is gonna be close.
I expect a LONG night in Florida AND Ohio.
