Right now, we have a Dictator in North Korea threatening to reign fire down on anybody he considers a threat.

What if President Obama ordered him taken out with a Drone. Could we fade the heat? What would be the short term ramifications?. Would the World be publically appalled, but privately pleased"

Lincoln did a smart thing in 1961. He forced the south into firing the first shot and he got the moral high ground in the view of the world. If we fire the first shot then we are the agressor and everything that the Kims said has come true. Well, I'm certain COG would advocate obtaining an arrest warrant and sending the FBI over to arrest the little chubby dictator with the overactive imagination.

I'm not certain what we should do. Droning him would almost certainly precipitate an all-out attack on South Korea by the DPRK. And, while they lack the capability to directly threaten the US mainland, they could damn sure do some serious damage to South Korea, and the 30,000 US troops stationed there...at least for a few days.

What's the point? I figure there's an off-chance (way off) that he might actually do some of the shit he's been talking about doing, but I seriously doubt it. He's just solidifying his position with the sheep.
