It’s too intrusive and too costly to implement voter IDs, but mandating the universal purchase of health care insurance and creating Internet IDs is achievable!!! More convoluted, liberal logic like murdering the unborn and saving convicted murderers from execution.

The funniest part, IB, is that the liberals can't see the inconsistency. It would be hysterical if there weren't so many of them.

Exclamation Security

The central issue here is security.

The way security is handled today on the internet is through a series of passwords and security questions. Even when you try to keep just one password to simplify things, you will find that some sites require special characters and numbers which result in longer and longer passwords.

It is a real hassle just to keep track of the password permutations that arise geometrically as you open new accounts.

Personally, I think it is an idea whose time has come.

. . . There are, however, many people who will automatically oppose any new idea and that is one major reason why progress is so damn slow in the world.

Ya gotta love progress! Simplify your passwords to only one that only you, the government and every one of your on-line accounts know. Somehow using the same password and ID for Eccie that you do for Chase Manhattan seems blatantly wrong, but call it progress.

Simply having a unique id isn't going to solve much. Its the confirmation info that's the issue. There's ways around typed passwords, smart cards, cell phone, biometric, etc confirmation measures. Having the govt in control of that does not make me comfortable.

So the government will help me save all my passwords to the porn sites I subscribe too??!?! YES!!!!

I kid. I kid. This is not awesome, I don't think may people would participate in this program even if it was implemented. I mean we already have enough to worry about with facebook and google tracking our every click.

If Santorum is gonna be the next president you wouldn't have to worry about that.
He would wipe out every internet site that shows more than a face and the lower part of your legs. In the meantime he invests in companies that outsource our jobs.
Anyone who votes for this guy is stupid beyond everything.

Lol, look up his name on google:

1. The frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex. 2. Senator Rick Santorum.

Isn't this how China's ruling party shuts down their Internet when there is something they do not wish the people to know?

The key words in this report are "government controle". Just say that several times, then think about it real hard.
