Review button in Providers profile for easy access for reviewing

Hello to All,

Many gentleman say they don't know exactly where to go to write reviews. I was thinking maybe a box in the providers profile saying "write review" will be helpful. I see a lot of newbie guys so of course they don't know the ins & outs of Eccie. Instead of having to go to a whole different place to write the review or ask a Mod, I think it would be fairly convenient to have access to write a review from the providers profile.

One complication I see in the idea is that the review is supposed to go in the forum where the session took place. For a provider who travels out of her primary location, how would you get the reviews into the right forum?

I would say the Mods would handle that. Once they see the location in the review they should know exactly where to put it

Besides what good is the review in the Atlanta forum if the provider has returned to her domicile, say Kansas City? Also I am not really sure how or when a review posted to the Atlanta forum finds its way to the provider's profile page.

It doesn't matter where the encounter happens, the review will still file in her review count. Why should a reviewer from Atlanta have to go to a KC board to write a review that took place in Atlanta, especially if her review count will populate regardless of where it happened??

And writing a review is easy. Just go to any review section and, at the top is a radio button saying, NEW REVIEW. Click on it and, voila!!. You can write a review.

Cavemen can do this. No need for an extra button to click on.

There are many new guys joining eccie everyday. When I got started with eccie I had no clue where everything was. So even though it might be easy for u (because you've been here for a while) it may not be that simple for others. This review button that I asked for is NOT to benefit the already established men, its for the newbies or the guys that would rather enjoy the convenience of a review button in the providers profile instead of having to go all the way to a different section to write a review.

Also I was thinking, once the hobbyist click the review button in the providers profile, they(eccie staff) should already have the providers name, profile link etc already attached since its coming directly from her page. I see many reviews where guys forget to add the link or name so that would most definitely clear that up.

Maybe, but we can't 'make a new door' to a building every time a newbie comes on board. There's a process of 'learning the ropes' that everyone has to go through. We're not supposed to know everything in one day. Everyone else here was new at some point. We made it out fine.

If we just gift everything to everyone at the first whim, we lose the ability and appreciation process of learning. The newbies will be alright.

Not everyone is gonna agree with me & I'm totally fine with that. My suggestion still stands as is. This forum is a place where members can share feedback & give suggestions. If my suggestion won't benefit you, then you don't have too use it. Simple as that. I'm speaking to the others that understand what I'm saying & agree that this could be a simple yet convenient add-on.
