just a link to inform you guys why it is best to get a hobby phone especially if you are going to backpage and Craigslist without doing your homework or TOFTT!

We all have to start somewhere with no reviews and I understand that but try to protect yourself if the girl has no reviews. I personally know someone this happened to just texting a girl from backpage and boom his information is on the net with his work number etc.. As you can see this site is based out of India and they put up fake provider ads with text only. So be safe out there and if you TOFTT be sure to be safe and use an app or phone not associated with your employment. This also has info on how to get your info removed! DO NOT FALL FOR PAYING THEM PLEASE READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE!

All I know is a good guy was needing a reference that I had seen and I gave it to the provider. She told me he was on the list of this site and I contacted him to let him know as I had never heard of this site.

I did research and found this along with other sites and from what I found told him not to pay. You can also just google your phone number if you had been texting U reviewed providers and not go through the site to see if your number shows up.

I did not think that if you entered your number they would put you on the list so I guess I will enter my number and see if that happens to myself and report back. That would be totally fucked up and if it is so I will let you know as that was never the intent. Intent was to keep everyone safe with education so we could all be safe!

Why would you show up on the list? They'll take the number, run a few searches to see if it's tied to a male Facebook, Twitter, or account somewhere in the internet, grab a few pics and whatever other info they can, and viola...list making made easy...

Your number is unpublished, unlinked to any account, and not for a guy...what money can they make off you?

Because there are female hobbyists as well and if you put your number in likethe one poster was saying I am sure my name would come up as they would be thinking.

#1. That since I searched my number I must be trying to book dates. Whether I am female or not there are women that hire providers.

#2. This is a test as I haven't heard of them harvesting numbers that way so since I have nothing to hide and my family knows why not let me put my number in and see if I come up as soliciting prostitution. If it does then the one poster is right. Heck just to see I can put my sons in there. I checked at 4am and so far I am not on the list.

I posted this to try and help people from this happening and to be safer. From everything I have researched. There are newbies entering the hobby every day and if I can keep someone safe I will put the informations out there. I have been in the business since 2002 (yes back when ASPD, Escorts.com and others where around. Things have evolved and it is sad when stuff like this happens. I have always tried to keep people informed and safe so they do not fall prey to sites like this and fall for the extortion of money.

We are supposed to be a discreet community protecting one another at least that is he way it used to be. Clients and Providers alike!

I tested it out back a few months ago... they don't add anything based on search info. However, I would never search name and number together - only separately.

They post fake ads on BP and CL, asking you to text them for more info. When you text them, they screenshot capture your number and the text conversation. Then they search to see if it is attached to a FB account and also capture any photos of you that have not been locked down and are available publicly. Then they compile a profile on you.

Guys, while screening is a MUST, and we do need that info to screen you... ONLY give it to REPUTABLE ladies!!! Stay off of BP if you can, or if you shop there, make sure you can find her information other places... QUALITY places. Know the difference between a quality site like ECCIE or TER vs those cheap-looking fly-by-night sites. Invest in a membership to a verification site.

This EJ bullshit has been a nightmare.
