I am not sure how a business centered in making others feel great can have such a dark side. We don't all have to agree, or even like each other but we need to show respect for one another.
After reading much of the nastiness between (some) providers here on this board as of late and hearing stories of threats and actions to out others along with stories of suicides and even being threatened myself this past year....
I have decided we need this even more than marketing!!!!!{ and that's saying ALOT for me...lol}
HOUSTON:

I want to start hosting empowering once a month get togethers/ workshops where we help each other grow and prosper. I was part of a similar thing when I lived in Florida that was started by my amazing Photog MeeShee and it was fun, enlightening and informative in countless ways.
This is a unique sisterhood and we can benefit greatly if we come together in this industry (and in this market especially!) I believe we can all learn from each other and experience more control over our business by coming together instead of feeling jealousy, competitive and/or un-trusting of each other. We are letting outside influences have too much impact and control on OUR businesses.
This can be an isolating business and we often have no one to bounce things off of, share our triumphs with and such...
