Default Best running trails

I'm going to go run at a park nearby for now but just interested for next time I'm here. What are the best trails here? I love scenery and hiking trails.

Just run by some soldiers. That would be enough to keep me going.

There are a lot of trails in the area, but some require a slight drive to get to.

What kind of running do you like? Easy trails or rough terrain?

I got a better Idea. I will buy a treadmill and put it infront of my couch. You come over. I put a nature movie on for you to watch while you run on the treadmill and I will sit on the couch and watch you (with great enjoyment), while you run.

Just a suggestion.

Victoria, I have found Miller Springs Park near the dam on Lake Belton and Chalk Ridge Falls park near the dam on Sitllhouse Hollow are two of the most scenic trail areas.

As to running, it really depends on how fast and far you are running, but these are great and scenic hiking areas.

Respectfully,

I have never tried Miller Springs, but I would be up to checking it out sometime. I was thinking of this trail near Dana Peak Park for Killeen area.

In Austin, Barton Creek is a great place to run!

Let me know if you need a jogging buddy!

Thanks Old Sarge. I will check those out when I'm in Kileen.
