Yes, it is allowed. Shit, we do it all the time here.

In Levi's case his comment was directed at someone, hence the warning. I know that we kid around here a lot and use such language in doing it but it is hard to decipher what is just kidding around from what would be a personal attack when all you have is the written word to go by.

If you wish to use such language that is your choice. I will say that we are all judged here, like it or not, by what we post here.
