I'm honestly shocked. I can't believe 12 people can be that stupid. They deliberated for 11 hours. I would have expected a hung jury before I would have expected them to acquit her.

Wow, do you think we will ever know what happenned to that little girl.

Before we crucify the 12 jurors, we do not actually know what they were presented with as actual evidence in the trial. Much of the stuff we see on Television might never even be presented to the jury.

But somebody killed that little girl, somebody disposed of the body, and I suspect more than one person was involved.

Maybe the Jurors will start with their made for TV movie deals soon, and the real truth will come out.

I haven't followed one word of evidence in this case, and frankly, I doubt any of the posters who have expressed outrage here have followed much more of the evidence. Granted, you may have read biased media accounts of the evidence, but not the evidence itself.

The twelve jurors who spent weeks of their lives with his case, heard every word of evidence. The looked, or at least had the opportunity to look at, every single document that was admitted into evidence. They heard the cross-examination of witnesses by the attorneys. They heard the arguments of the lawyers about the evidence. And they heard the law that applied to the case explained by the judge. Not one of you had that advantage. Yet you smugly sit and disparage weeks and weeks of hard work by the men and women who had all of that available to them based on a half-heard smattering of ignorant (and often inaccurate) "infotianment" media bullshit.

Shameful in the extreme and very disrespectful of our jury system.

It is very sad that justice did not come for the child.

But it is a jury's duty to refrain from using personal feelings, and base their decision on only the facts they have been given.


Be thankful that we live in a place where we are innocent until proven guilty instead of vice versa.
