Think of what these unsavory bastards are cheering, what if you were treated the same way? You have a problem with a prosecutor in your city. Suddenly, you find yourself accused of a very distasteful act which, if true, may not even be a crime but does hurt your reputation. Using that as leverage the prosecutor uses government resources to go after your friends and family. Good people are discovered to have lied on a tax form from a decade ago which netted them an extra hundred bucks. Those parking tickets from another state...they're trying to extradite you for them. Jump a turnstile when you were a kid...The video is coming back to haunt you. And that arrest in the military for that young lady who turned out to be a detective...years later they want to make a federal case out of it. I personally would like to see Democrats back off on the investigations. Trump, if he continues on his current course, can be beaten in 2020 and I believe most voters view these investigations as unneeded and unwarranted.

Interesting. I don't know if Politico is right or left but Bill Scher of Politico believes Democrats will win the 2020 election by an electoral count of 296-242 based on the 2018 House voting.

It is very early. No Democratic front-runner yet in the race for their nominee. Will the economy stay strong and remain a positive for Trump? Will Democrats be able to stifle those in the party on the far left (AOC)? Right now the race for 2020 POTUS is by most UNBIASED accounts up in the air. Obviously you look at it as a fait accompli and Trump will coast to victory in 2020. I'll wait a while before making a prediction. I was dead wrong in 2016 and right on in 2018.
