Take a look at the black arrow on the chart. It's not a straight line, but rather, a parabola. If it were a straight line, the gold price would be rising at the same rate. But because it is a parabola, gold is rising at an ever greater rate. Gold is in an exponential upward trend. This is exactly the pattern that you see when a currency is heading toward hyperinflation, and this chart shows all four currencies headed that way.

This whole "gold frenzy" is sort of comical.

If things get as bad as some of the doom and gloomers say, you had better forget about gold, and invest in a good 12 guage shotgun, a small caliber rifle, as much ammo as you can horde, and cans of Pork and Beans.

In that senario, the gold will be as worthless as the paper money it replaced, and the thugs that come to cut your throat won't do it for gold, they will kill you and take the Pork and Beans.
