Pelousi spouts off that the leading vaccine (Oxford) being developed by the Brits, is not up to US standards.
So now she's prime minister of the UK also?
Clearly she's not aware that Oxford is being tested in the American Heartland (which requires US FDA approvals).

It's like her handlers put anything in front of her and she spouts it off like Joey does.

I nearly spilled my coffee laughing.

Frankly, I know lab rats in my area that are involved with the Oxford testing, they think it's a top candidate for 1st to go into production in the western world.

Ohhh, I get it now, Pelousi so wants to refute Trump's statement on "vaccine coming soon", that she playing an angle to prove him wrong by trying to sabotage the leading vaccine candidate from production, thus denying us of a vaccine by Christmas.
That will go over well, like a sunken ship, with:
The medical community/profession.
and
Anyone in assisted living housing who are literally locked in their rooms cause those places are afraid, rightly, that those places could be hit hard (and have been).
and
Anyone that's in the high risk group.

BTW the U.K. has a very good universal healthcare system where folks don’t go bankrupt over medical bills and they even have a public option of private healthcare. It’s called CHOICE.

Which brings me to a topic I was just thinking about. Biden wants to raise the corporate tax by 7% and take away tax breaks enjoyed by a whole helluva lot of people that didn't make $400,000.


If you work for a company that just had it's taxes raised by 7% and is still struggling to get back on it's feet, are you (A) more likely to get a raise and have new employee's or (B) less likely to get a raise and just might get laid off because the company can't now afford to keep you on?


The counter argument is that the "stimulus spending" by Biden will compensate for the raise in corporate taxes.

Should you quit the job you have invested years in but now can't give you a raise and just might have to lay you off because of the Biden tax hikes and go get a job at the new sparkling Green energy company that may or may not even get off the ground if there is as yet no available market for their product or a product being sold cheaper by China?
