Default Suggestion for when providers post a reply in their reviews

Mods,

When a provider posts a reply in their own review, the typical response is for the mods to delete the post and then post a copy of the rule that says they are not to post there.

In my mind, a provider who posts a reply like this is probably providing valuable intel. Most replies from new providers are typically just a thanks. But sometimes there is more there.

What if when this occurred, instead of deleting the text of the reply, you made it PRIVATE and then added your nasty note about the rules. This would allow the guys to see the lady's reply and evaluate it. Any guy wanting to respond to the lady's note would have to keep it private as well, thus keeping the lady from getting the full impact of her post.

I agree totally!

There is always two sides to a story, but only the mods get to hear both.

It would be great if hobbyist could hear both sides while reading the review, instead of having to go read a drama thread in co-Ed

Just my thoughts

Thanks for all of the mods help, us hobbyists don't give you all enough praise

It's a double edged sword, and I see both sides of the issue. I have read plenty of reviews by someone disgruntled or just full of BS, and where the other side of the story needed to be told. But I have also seen plenty of honest reviews where the provider doesn't like the truth coming out about her, and starts her nasty comments. I say let them post. The truth comes out eventually
