So what are his options? Declare Mar-a-lago a sovereign property and hold up inside? Fly to one of the former Soviet Blocs where he will be protected? Oh I see, his plan is to get his worshipers to protest in attempt to prevent his arrest.

If they truly do arrest Trump, the democrats have destroyed any hope of winning in 2024. Watch the backlash, media be damned......

Agreed Chizzy.

The reported upcoming arrest of President Trump by hyper partisan Soros prosecutor Alvin Bragg is some Third World Banana Republic lunacy and a very, very dangerous road to go down

It will galvanize support for Trump

I have supported Trump but preferred DeSantis in 2024. But when the Crazy Ass Leftists do this shit, I want to elect Trump to fucking tear apart Washington and destroy the beauracracy.

On charges already dropped, twice. Feds in maga gear will be waiting to storm the courthouse, since their J6 narrative has been destroyed. Epps and the fellas are already packing.

Trump never did anything wrong with the campaign money by paying stormy that money. She was only helping him win the election by keeping his nerves calmed down. That is it. Another Democrat hoax.

Ironically, I agree. Unless they can (and I think they will) provide overwhelming evidence that everyone associated with his administration was corrupt.. And provide it in a way that utter idiots who have the right to vote understand exactly what happened... Though that likely won't, as the faux news channels will twist anything to make it an 'us vs them', just like they have with everything the past 6 years

Hush now, you're about to get an infraction for being off topic! Stormy isn't related to this thread!

... Don't gotta look to the famous Australian
soothe-sayer fellow "Confushiss" for advice here.

Ned Kelly and me-own Pap surely 'ave the proper measure
of this situation:

"IF we have issue - let's have at it - and do it NOW!"

Tryin' like Jack-the-Lad to turn a misdemeanour
into a felony is a rather difficult task.

Especially when the defence has barristers at the ready.

... TRUMP 2024! ...

Try learning actual facts

Virtually every campaign finance violation involves either 1) spending other people’s money illegally or 2) taking money into your campaign that you shouldn’t.

Trump did neither. He used his own money to resolve a private dispute, irrespective of any campaign.

The crazed leftists at the federal level already refused to prosecute this because it's not a crime. And is especially irrelevant at the state level for a federal campaign

This is an absurd abuse of the criminal process in our politics.

Get back on topic, this isn't about Trump's campaign violations!

Regardless, if that is the reason he is going to be arrested, you should also be reminded of the outstanding bills that he has for holding rally in various cities... that he has yet to pay. Or in other words, theft

That is literally what the case is about. His payment to Stormy Daniels that the Soros bought and paid for leftist DA in NYC is trying to say is a campaign finance violation.

Do you ever bother to understand the subject of the thread before posting?

As for being off topic, you should take your own advice as the whole rest of your post is completely unrelated to the subject at hand

I think it's prudent to see what the actual charges and evidence are before rushing to someone else's defense or trying to rush to a guilty plea.

exactly. seems Bragg is pushing an untested angle. that rarely goes well for a prosecutor.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-ind...162455434.html

For many legal experts, even larger questions still remain about the strength of Bragg’s case. It revolves around $130,000 in payments made by Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen to a former porn actress, Stormy Daniels, toward the end of the 2016 campaign, when she was threatening to go public about an alleged sexual dalliance with Trump 10 years earlier.

The payment, arranged by Cohen after consulting with Trump, was listed internally within the Trump Organization as “legal expenses” — a description that Bragg’s prosecutors are expected to charge as illegal under a New York state law prohibiting falsifying business records.

But that charge is a misdemeanor offense, unless it can be shown to be part of an underlying crime. To make that case, and escalate the indictment into a felony, prosecutors are preparing to argue that the payment was made to Daniels to influence the 2016 election and was therefore a violation of New York state election law, as an unreported contribution by Trump to his own campaign.

But that remains an untested legal theory. Contributions to presidential campaigns are governed by federal election law and it is not clear whether New York election laws can be stretched to include expenditures in a presidential race.

The source familiar with the case acknowledged that Trump’s lawyers are likely to challenge the indictment on those grounds, among others, and that a judge could ultimately agree and “bump this back to a misdemeanor.”

So if that's the route they go, that other underlying crime has to be something they can prove and has to be within their scope/jurisdiction.

Let's see.
