Onlyfans - worth it?

I’m on the fence on whether starting an onlyfans would be worth it or not.
How many of you would subscribe or have subscribed to providers on onlyfans? What type of content are on their videos, if you have subscribed. A few people told me I should start one… just not sure if I should.
Thoughts…?

I think there's been a recent resurgence for onlyfans so might as well put one together. Just kinda gotta keep things reasonable on the sub price until you build up a good bit of content and a following. One thing that'll attract a quick following is to do free subs with kinda basic posts and then ppv content for the hotter pics/vids. You can always up the price or build a second page that charges down the road. With free subs, nobody can complain at you if you don't update often. And no, I'm not asking for free content at all, that's why I mention the PPV locked content. I have a free page that does well (IMO) and I do the PPV locked content on mine.

I'd recommend following some free pages to get a feel for how other creators present themselves and kinda learn some what not to do and some what to do ways of maintaining a successful page.

I can see OF as a supplement to hobby earnings, opening up a wider audience, but I don't think it's likely to make a lot of difference to area hobbyists.

I think some people will use OF to decide if they want to see a provider but like Cat said maybe have it as supplemental income ?

Great question & one I have been contemplating. I think Bald Brian gave a nice response with food for thought .... why not try to make an extra amount of mullah, especially while you are sleeping?

Honestly paying for digital content leaves an electronic trail that I can't afford to be discovered. So for me, paying online for a subscription to OF or anything else is off the table.

I have paid for a ladies onlyfans here and there. One thing that I find very annoying and will unsub fast is when they send endless number of messages in DM, sending content to unlock. Ill pay a fair monthly fee.. but if I am paying a monthly fee and you continue to try and drain money, hard pass. Now if its a free account, I understand.

...but they normally don't feature local talent.

Well, you are asking as a woman, and may be getting responses from a predominantly male audience. While I personally refuse to join, I do know that for some women OF is exceptionally profitable. I would just hate to see a physical provider become a cam only girl; that takes the soul out of humanity. Next thing you know we will all by cyborgs; there will be no more social gatherings, dinners together, or in person sex. We will all be merged into the virtual "meta verse" with all it's greatness... Of course if you do both, you would have two income streams.

It can be a good money with a little effort. I work with a girl that did cam shows and she likes OF way better. I help her with videos, we record a months worth of stuff in a couple days, then she answers PM's, requests, posts content in about an hour each day.

Wives, SOs, chicks at the bar, coworkers and in some cases (seeing how we're south of the mason dixon line)...cousins and a a multitude of others are free.

People pay for various reasons but strong points are made in comments 4 & 11 on this thread. Also, I record with a girl who sells our content to a former client of hers who has moved away and can't see her any longer, but still likes to "see" her, lol. Tons of reasons why people pay for onlyfans and other creator platforms.

You can find countless industries that exist in today's world where the goods and services offered of said industry can indeed be found elsewhere for "free"

I saw the comparison made about how paying a monthly on onlyfans and then paying more to unlock additional content is akin to paying a cover charge at a strip club and then paying extra to get lap dances, handys and bjs in the VIP. Okay, I suppose that's a "decent" comparison so each potential subscriber just has to decide if that's an acceptable route for them to take themselves. But the problem with that is that you still get a bunch of T&A for that cover charge you're paying at the club so an OF page should provide a similar structure. That is, if the model wants to make that comparison. n

This is a good time to suggest that any model on OF should disclose his/her structure in the bio of their page, as this is visible before someone subs. If you're charging a monthly sub fee then it's only fair to disclose that certain type of content will only be made available with additional charges. Tell us what we get for the sub fee and then tell us what we're going to need to contribute for more, and where the line is drawn. A lot of models are taking the "No PPV" route which is a great way just to just avoid any headaches and complaints about locked content that goes beyond the monthly sub price.

This is key and maybe the biggest reason why an OF model will ultimately succeed or fail with his/her page. You get out of it what you put into it. The money made, reputation and longevity of the page are going to be a direct reflection of the effort put forth...

Now this I agree would be great idea. Let potential subscribers know what to expect for their monthly fee. I dont mind an occasional thing here and there. I get it.. gotta earn that bag.. but if im getting messages daily.. if not multiple times through out a day.. ill just move on.
